In late July we collaborated with local fireworks professionals to put on the Hiroshima Fireworks Festival. The preparations took place upon a floating dock. Rain showers hampered the preparations at times but we were able to successfully complete them. A tugboat brought the floating dock away from the port to our firing area. Luckily the sky cleared just before the presentation began; allowing for perfect conditions. The presentation displayed various sized fireworks from size 3(9cm) to 10(30cm). During the last program a "UFO" appeared bringing about great awes from the audience. The Wide Starmine finale was a great crowd pleaser. The computer program utilized allowed for an accurately timed performance.
